Seems to me it would be useful for the new feature that assigns a material type to list those types in alphabetical order as opposed to the order they were created. If a user has quite a few different material types it is going to be more difficult to select the type they want to filter out from the listing. Both in the Materials Database list and also from the filter selection when selecting material on the Prepare screen.

This seems like it should be standard programming???
