Make PDF Import Mode a windowed pop up / 2.11.x 3.1

Having to go into settings to change the PDF Import Mode for each job seems extra tedious. I tend to change between single and multiple pages dependent on the job size. As an alternative, I would recommend having it appear as a pop up option when dragged into design or prepare. This would help out the congestion of deleting, moving to settings, changing and saving for one job.
