Improving stretching characters only in one dimension /3.1

Hello, I've been trying to use the dynamic data feature with plates. It's a very good feature, but I have to complain about stretching function.
When the different entries of diferent length need to be compressed, the result is not useful. If you strecth because text is too long some entries are strecthed even if they don't need.
To better explain I'm submitting to you some files.

What I need is to strecht only in one dimension and only when needed (not always).
In other words, to fit a word in a box where the height of the letter could be set in mm (not in px) and the length of a word could be compressed if larger than length of box.

Now, in ruby, this is impossible if words are of different length.
You can try with the 3 entries of my TEST.txt.
The result I expect to achieve is the one in test.png

Best regards.

Pau Rué
